Friends of Sporting Art Trip to Lexington, KY

Friday April 27th, 2023 – The visit to Lexington started with a tour of Cross Gate Gallery’s collection of Sporting art followed by an afternoon with Andre Pater and his wife, Kasia at his private studio. On Saturday, a full day at the Kentucky Horse Park to watch the cross country leg of the internationally renowned Land Rover 5 star 3-day-event. On Sunday an opportunity to visit the Headley-Whitney Museum before heading home.

In Lexington, KY
- Tour of Cross Gate Gallery with owner Gregg Ladd with a chance meeting with English artist Charles Church.
- Afternoon visit with Andre Pater and his wife Kasia at the Studio.
- Day at Lexington Horse Park with access to the “Kentucky Club” to watch the cross-country phase of the famous Land Rover five star 3-day-event.
- Self guided tour of the Headley-Whitney Museum.
